From 2003, Movember has grown to become the largest men’s health movement in the world. Raising money and awareness for men’s health is a cause EWRE supports and participates in annually.
According to the Movember Foundation prostate cancer rates will double over the next 15 years. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among men aged 15-39 years of age and across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 75% of all suicides.

Something women do better
Women ask for help, so EWRE is doing what we do best and we are asking for the help many men need. Beyond Blue reported that The 2007 National Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing study found that in the previous year, only 27.5% of males with a mental disorder and recent symptoms had accessed services for their mental health problems compared with 40.7% of females. This reluctance to seek help is unfortunately representative of all male health issues so women have to give a not so gentle nudge to the guys we love.
Half our clients are fellas and of course we love the men in our lives too and we are as committed to men’s health as we are to women’s health. We want to support the great Ausi men that contribute everyday in every way to community like only we can.
So to all the Mo Bros and Mo Sistas that participate and donate to this most worthy cause we salute you.
